Student Success Statement

Student Success Statement

"When I was teaching basketball, I urged my players to try their hardest to improve on that very day, to make that practice a masterpiece. This rule is even more important in life than basketball. You have to apply yourself each day to become a little better. By applying yourself to the task of becoming a little better each and every day over a period of time, you will become a lot better. Only then will you be able to approach being the best you can be. It begins by trying to make each day count and knowing you can never make up for a lost day."

John Wooden

What this quote means is that you never quit. Even if you are outnumbered, you still continue and fight for what you stand for. Let no one ever step on you you. Yes you may fall, but remember this: you will always pick yourself up afterwards! So as long as you defend yourself, you should be outstanding. And by doing this you will always choose the right!!!

Student Success Statement

Student Success Statement

"Improvement begins with I."

ANON

This quote means so much. It is true, if you want to improve you have to start with yourself. If you don't start you get nowhere. Other people can't be there for you, you have to be independent and individual! So example, let's say you were absent one day for school. The teacher are not going to go up to you and tell you what you missed. YOU have to go up the teacher and ask them yourself. Another example could be Christoper Dornor. If he had chose the right he would not have murdered all those people he would be alive right now.

Student Success Statement

"The only difference between those who have failed and those who have succeeded lies in the difference of their habits. Good habits are the key to all success. Bad habits are the unlocked door to failure. Thus, the first law I will obey; which precedeth all others is--'I will form good habits and become their slaves."

Og Mandino

In my short yet brief summary, we will talk about this outstanding quote. Basically if you do right and do what you are supposed to do you succeed. An if slack off and don't do whats said to be done, you will fail. I mean not only fail a test but also life. You mostly see people succeeding if they went to school and finished. Plus they went to college. And now for the opposite, if you fail everything, come late, and don't do anything in life,  you will be nothing in life. You will work for the circus according to my new media teacher a while back. This only goes for the slackers and the kids/adults who are NOT responsible!

"The saddest thing in life is wasted talent."
