Student Success Statement

"He listens well who takes notes."
Dante Alighieri

What this quote means is that you have to pay attention. Even if it is the smallest of all. So, you have  to pay attention the little facts as well compared to the important ones. Everything matters. We have to thank this man for this important quote. An example would be a lecturer speaking to you. He says a big part that is really important, so you just listen to that part, but when he goes into depth with it you start ignoring him.

"You must live in the present to secure your future."

Reverend Robert Craig

What I think of this quote means that you must first start off your journey to have a future. You cannot just start in the middle of your life, you start at birth. You also need to have a bright and presentable present so you can carry it along with you in the future. So start off strong and finish it even stronger! CTR

10 Management Tips for Students Tips 5-10

10 Management Tips for Students
Tips 5-10

Tip 5. Review Your Notes Every Day.
Reviewing helps you reinforce what you’ve, so you need less time to study before a test. You’ll also be ready if you called on in class or have to take a pop quiz.
Tip 6. Get a Good Night’s Sleep.
Your brain needs rest to perform at its peak. Lack of sleep makes the day seem longer and your tasks seem more difficult.
Tip 7. Communicate Your Schedule to Others.
If phone calls or text messages are proving to be a distraction, tell your friends that you are only available at certain times of day and not to expect a response at other times.
Tip 8. Become a taskmaster.
Give yourself a time budget and plan your activities accordingly. Figure out how much free time you have each week before you add any commitments.
Tip 9. Don’t Waste Time Agonizing.
Instead of agonizing and procrastinating, just do it. Wasting an entire evening worrying about something that you’re supposed to be doing is not productive, and can increase your stress.
Tip 10. Determine Your Priorities.
You can’t do everything at once. Establish the importance of each item. Then set realistic goals that are attainable.

"It's better to be alone than to be in bad company."
ANON

This quote means that you need to stay with the people who respect you and your decisions. Friends are the ones who are there for you and never disrespect him. Your friends aren't the ones who influence you negative things. An example for being lonely rather than being in bad company can be, kids who are CTW's. They are forcing you do pull all-nighters and do drugs and drink. Those are not your friends. These are your enemies and you need to stay away from them everyday! Now friends. These people respect your opinion and personality. They do not treat you like scum, they treat you equally and fair. So stay away from these low life people who will become failures, and stay with the people who will succeed in life and their dreams will be endless!
