Student Success Statement

Student Success Statement
"I think it better to do right, even if we suffer in so doing, than to incur the reproach of our consciences and posterity."

Robert E. Lee

What this quote means is that you need to do right. Even if you suffer from doing so. This remarkable statement suits all of us. We all have done something wrong at one point we all have to admit to this. But we told the truth and we suffered. Whether it be good or bad. An example would you having a test. You didn't study. So you decide to cheat off your next door partner. You did wrong and feel guilty  So you tell your teacher and she will understand and give you a zero for cheating. So, you did good, but felt like you suffered. Remember never do wrong.

Summary and Relection

Summary and Relection

The summary is that race walker, Alex Shwazer was banned from the London Olympics for blood doping. He had been caught and he said he has happy he had been caught. All that guilt that was inside could not withstand it anymore. He had won a gold medal for winning a 50km race so bacially 30 miles or so. I think he had these taken away from him. And probably served some prison time perhaps.

Relection: I think Alex did okay, but he should have not used blood doping. That is what he gets for cheating. Hopefully you learn from this. Never use drugs or never cheat. By cheating  and using drugs you get nowhere.
