Student Success Statement

Student Success Statement
"Everyone is the architect of their own learning."
Claudius

What this quote means is that you are in the drivers seat and you make up your own choices. No one else can learn for you, it all depends on yourself! So, if you do bad you cannot blame others for your actions. If you get good grade you still don't blame others for your own actions. You did that yourself, its either you do good or do bad. An example could be a student. This student never does his homework, classwork, or does not do so well on test... His report card comes and it is terrible grades! So, he blames others. He blames his mother, father, brother, sister and so on... This was all his own fault and he needs to take responsibility for his own actions! Choose the right!!!

"Improve your performance by improving your attitude."
ANON

What this means is that if you want something done in the proper matter, you need to have a positive mind towards it. If you don't, you will have a negative feeling toward that certain thing you want. So, if you want to improve first never think negative. Then think of a solution, like maybe think about it positively. An example would be a student in an algebra class. He may may not like that class because he is doing bad. So, he is thinking negatrive in that class. He first needs to think positive. There are many solutions to this problem. He can ask his teacher for tutoring, ask for exra credit, and maybe re-make all the material he missed or never did

"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."
Helen Keller

What this quote by Helen Keller is saying two minds is greater than one. If you have two people you will have greater chances of learning better compared to doing it on you own. An example could be, lets say you need to study for an important exam. You are all alone and need someone to quiz  you. That is why together you can do so much. If you need help on a problem you can ask for help from that person. So it is up to you, you can do so little or so poor by yourself. Or get a better understanding from a friend. I am not saying be a free loader and get all the answers from your friends, you need to put some effort in order for you to really understand the subject. So remember, two minds is greater than one. If you are unsure of this quote it basically means the same thing as Helen Keller quote.

"The saddest thing in life is wasted talent."
